They carried an 87-year-old disabled woman out of the only home she’d known for 71 years. On a stretcher. In front of cameras.

Maricarmen Abascal. Madrid. Same flat since 1956. A fund bought the building, jacked the rent 230%, and the state made it legal. Courts signed the papers. Police cleared the door. Social services put her in an ambulance. Then everyone acted shocked.

This is not a “tragic isolated case.” This is the system working exactly as designed: housing treated as a financial product, elderly tenants as obstacles, public housing almost non-existent, and politicians discovering urgency only after the photos go viral.

Sánchez promises a decree on Tuesday. The regional government shrugs. Both have had years. Rents in Madrid up 61% in five years. Public social housing under 2%. Vulture funds buy buildings, raise rents, evict, rinse, repeat. The state protects the contract, not the person living in it.

Thousands are now camping in Puerta del Sol. They’re not asking for poetry. They’re asking why an 87-year-old woman with a disability can be legally thrown onto the street while the institutions that allowed it issue statements.

Housing is a right on paper. In practice the state just enforced the opposite.

If you stumble on an account of a stunning Western-looking girl whose location is set to Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, the Philippines, India or some other corner of Africa / South Asia… congratulations. You didn’t find a romantic soulmate. You found a job description.
Most of those profiles are romance-scam factories. Stolen or AI-generated photos of attractive women, fake bios, sudden “I can’t wait to meet you,” then the classic script: stuck abroad, medical emergency, customs fee, crypto opportunity, plane ticket. FBI and FTC have been screaming this for years. Reported U.S. losses alone keep sitting in the billion-dollar range. West African networks and Southeast Asian compounds have been running this playbook for a long time.
Red flags that should make you close the chat immediately:

Location doesn’t match the face or the story
Photos look like they belong on a magazine cover
Love-bombing in 48 hours
Any request for money, gift cards, crypto or “help with documents”
They refuse a simple live video call or keep inventing reasons they can’t meet

Reverse-image-search the pictures. Talk to a real friend before you send a single euro. Never wire money to someone you’ve never met in person. That’s not cynicism, that’s the official advice from the people who actually count the bodies (financial ones).
Your loneliness is not an invitation. Their “I just need a little help to come to you” is not a love story. It’s a business. Don’t be the product.

The monopoly is broken.

CNN and other legacy news organizations subverted their position to maliciously curate the news. They felt it was their right to permanently occupy that position.

They leave for one day, and the coverage is already better. Now the world knows that CNN is unnecessary and incompetent. Bringing them back would require forcing out RAV, who has already proven themselves better stewards of the trust put in them by the president, and the information needs of the American people.

Gaza sodassa siviili vs sotilas kuolema ratio on 1:1 kun se muilla konfliktialueilla (ja YKn tilaston mukaan on 9:1) 9 siviiliä menehtyy yhtä taistelijaa kohtaan. Israel siis onnistunut hyvin säästämään siviilihenkiä.
