🚨🎙️ Casemiro on his funny conversation with Lionel Messi after his brace:

Reporter: “We saw you having a funny conversation with Leo after he scored. What did you say to him?”

Casemiro: “Honestly, Messi scored an insane goal. He dribbled past three players and finished it like it was the easiest thing in the world. I went over to him and said jokingly, ‘Hey, man, I thought you told everyone your legs could no longer give you what you want?’ 😂

He looked at me and started laughing because he knew exactly what I meant. Then he said, ‘You want to put me in trouble, but I’m not answering that!’ We both started laughing.

That’s one thing I’ve noticed about Leo. When he feels comfortable around you, he smiles a lot, jokes around and makes everything feel natural. I’m genuinely happy to play alongside him because you don’t always get the opportunity to share a dressing room with someone like this.

Think about it. At 39, he’s still dribbling past three players, scoring solo goals, deciding matches and making defenders look like they have no answers. And he’s doing all this after telling the world that his legs can no longer give him everything he wants.

Honestly, what more do people want from this man? If you can watch him do these things at 39 and still refuse to acknowledge that he’s the greatest of all time, then maybe football is not for you.

For me, Leo deserves to win the Ballon d’Or. I know people will have their opinions, but what he’s doing at this age is extraordinary.

We’re watching history, and I think sometimes people are too busy arguing to appreciate what’s right in front of them.”
