@Yung_Wooloo Lead Carracosta and Omastar with Shell Smash and hazards were great at applying a ton of offensive pressure in earlier gens. Omastar was also an excellent rain sweeper in gen 3. You just gotta know how to use the benefits these guys bring.

The others were more simple - earthbenders are uncouth, water tribe men are dumb hicks, airbenders are weird hippies, but portraying water tribe women as licentious and sexualized, swaying fire nation men away from their homeland is a very nuanced depiction of real propaganda.

Considering the Gaang’s depiction in the play was also supposed to double as how the Fire Nation’s stereotypically views the other nations, alongside the history of abductions carried out on the Water Tribe, makes Katara’s overly promiscuous depiction in TEIP very harrowing imo.
