South Africans suffer from something I call the IWO. Identification with the Oppresor. The IWO is a psychological defence mechanism where an oppressed or Traumatized person internalizes the traits,Values and even the Mindset of the person Oppresing them. They mimick the masters cruelty and assert it over someone else who is weaker than them,a weaker slave. And by doing this this Oppressed slave gets to escape his own feelings of helplessness and gains some small sense of security and superiority. That is what is happening to south Africans

The average black south African is oppresed. And the oppresion is so bad that now,they refuse to admit they oppresed. But they have been oppresed for a very long time by the white Minority,former colonizers. And because these Masters,the white men,have taken over institutions and resources,and left the average south african with nothing,the south african is helpless.

So helpless that they can only unleash the anger inside against themselves,or against the small slaves;The nigerians,the Somalis,the Zimbambweans,the mozambiqies’. This gives them some sort of short sense of superiority,that for a moment obscures the helplessness they feel from the Masters who own everything,that belongs to the south African.
