The chart was moving fast and there was enough hype to get me glued.

You know that feeling…the one where your brain says “this could be the one” while your gut says “this might be a trap

So I did what most people would do↓

tonight, I predicted Argentina would win, and they did

some people will find it strange coming from a Ronaldo fan

but supporting Argentina tonight doesn't make me any less of one

because I love football more than I love agendas

Messi, on the other hand, is the reason millions fell in love with the beauty of the game itself

watching Messi has always felt like watching football become art

my prediction tonight wasn't against Cristiano

it wasn't betrayal

it was simply an appreciation of football

greatness isn't a limited resource

admiring Messi doesn't take anything away from Ronaldo

respecting Ronaldo doesn't require hating Messi

you can respect the king of discipline and still applaud the king of magic.

one inspired a generation to work harder

the other inspired a generation to dream bigger

and somehow, football blessed us with both in the same era

one day Ronaldo and Messi will both walk away from the pitch for the final time

when that day comes, the fan wars won't matter
