While social media is flooded with Tim Hortons “food” videos, I have one simple question:

WHY??

Why the fuck does anyone still go there?

This woman just pulled the lettuce off her bagel sandwich and it looks like it’s been sitting in a swamp for a week. Slimy, brown, rotting, and literally falling apart in her hands. She’s holding it up like evidence in a crime scene.

“Count your motherfcn days, Tim Hortons Canada.”

And she’s not wrong.

We’ve all seen the videos .. wilted lettuce, stale everything, cold “fresh” baked goods, and the same excuses every single time. Meanwhile they keep crying they can’t find workers while importing thousands of TFWs.

Canadians used to actually like Tim Hortons. Now it feels like they’re just daring us to keep giving them money for this garbage.

Competition is finally coming. Dunkin’ is on the way. Good. Maybe a little fear will force them to stop treating customers like we’re idiots.

What happens when a town councillor starts exposing what he says is bullying, smear tactics, and dirty politics inside Sylvan Lake?

They panic.

Last week, Councillor Teej Johannesson came on the show and told his side. He talked about how he feels certain people around town hall are trying to push him out because he refuses to sit down, shut up, and let bad policy run the town.

Now the interview has been watched thousands of times and people are backing Teej.

So what happens next?

The smear machine fires up.

Funny how that works.

The second someone refuses to play their little political game, suddenly the attacks come in from every direction.

So I have one question for the Sylvan Lake mayor and council.

What are you so afraid of?

Teej was elected by the people. Not appointed by the mayor. Not approved by some little insider club. Elected by residents who wanted his voice at that table.

And now that voice is making people uncomfortable.

Good.

That usually means the right questions are being asked.
