Proud dad to a great kid. Alberta born and raised. Opinions expressed here are my own and not reflective of any employer or association I’m involved with.
And the issues get worse every year. And trying to deal with the messaging system…forget about it. Next time Rogers comes knocking, maybe this long time customer will actually hear them out.
@TELUSsupport@TELUS I’m at my wits end right now with the absolutely abysmal customer service I’ve received from Telus. Last renewal was brutal with phone call after phone call to get it proper. This time it’s been an ongoing issue since AUGUST. Multiple calls for hours & hours
Every month I’m getting over charged, deals made and suddenly no record of it. After 4 times getting escalated, and promised it would be dealt with, the next bill comes and it’s still over double what was promised. Beyond frustrating to have to deal with this EVERY month.
It will be interesting to see how overriding charter rights, forcing a rejected labour deal on workers, and threatening substantial fines will impact Alberta's plan to add and recruit 3,000 new teachers over the next 3 years.
@duolingo from an 1852 day streak to ready to delete the app because of this energy update. Used to be rewarded for doing well by being able to continue. Now can’t even do 3 lessons, making quests and boosts pointless. Wonder how many users and ad revenue you lost from this move.
@EdmontonJack Wondering the same thing. Telus won’t work even with a vpn. Luckily there’s a sports bar here that had the last game on ALL TVs. Lots of Canadians here.
Website error messages for those that tried to cash them in before they went away. At the very least the points should have automatically rolled over to bill discounts. Not just vanished. Spent hours trying to use them and points gone when I went back last night to try again.
@TELUS@TELUSsupport This whole rewards expiry debacle is another example of how bad your customer service has got. Shady. Telling long term customers they don't deserve perks because we have rewards points, and then randomly removing said points with little to no communication..
@CareForEd1 Tear in my shoulder over 1.5 years ago. $13,000-14,000 and I could be in a private clinic in less than a month. Meanwhile it’s been a year and a half and not even a call for a consult. And lost my family doc so no one to push for me. Luckily it’s healed to a manageable level.
@CanadianInBerta @allieisnthome If you can even get insurance. Two summers in a row people are getting denied in Edson because there’s a wildfire within 50km.
@Isuckatpicking My doc left a couple months back and basically my entire family is without a doc and the walk in clinic with 1 issue per visit and at least a 2-3 hour wait is the only option now. Super frustrating.
@Isuckatpicking Town of Edson owns the clinic space to keep rents as low as possible and also has a house to help physicians/health care professionals transition into the community. While it's helped some over the years, there is still a shortage and no docs that are taking on new patients.
