We have it on good authority that First Lady Denise Morrisey is FUMING that her husband is sharing a podium with Larry Pack today, a man she hates as she has expressed to more people than she should have.

@HoppyKercheval My grandparents were friends with Sara Jane’s parents, and they were good people. She was born in Charleston, WV in 1930. She was Sarah Jane Kahn back then.
New report by @CTULocal1 -Charter schools have “failed to live up to the promises they made to families,” falling behind in standards for special education and English Language Learners.” https://t.co/BOHqanUiYM
Yep, WV private schools receiving vouchers have not provided any evidence that they have improved educational outcomes or increased academic performance. WV leg refuses to ask for any accountability.

3 years ago, WV rejected a constitutional amendment that would have given the legislature authority to review and approve the state BOE rules & policies intact. But the GOP led Senate passed a bill to remove that authority. A big F_ _ k You to WV voters. https://t.co/TwFPofoKkB
Teachers in border counties such as Wayne will not see an increase in pay nor will our coal counties. This bill does nothing to address the teacher shortage & teacher migration out of WV. https://t.co/W6DmqRTAHr
@rweingarten Thank you, @rweingarten for speaking out on behalf of our kids, families and teachers. These cuts are disgusting and only serve the very rich. I'm proud to see our educators speaking up in advocating for students and programs, even though they're being viciously attacked.
WV Republicans, who won nearly every election in 2024, are focused on “election integrity” this session.
Democratic lawmakers say the bills, including absentee ballot restrictions, are motivated by conspiracy theories.
New from @LoriKerseyWV and me https://t.co/uTRDK959IQ
80% of WV’s population lives in a border county. That’s means teachers can cross the border and earn more & receive better benefits. So, a salary increase based on housing costs takes in the wrong direction. https://t.co/sUN4fjDLUE
