** CT ANNOUNCEMENT -OM TIME WILL BE IN 1Q 2025**

Dear Global Pioneers,

All of us just received an update from CT on Pi Network Main screen regarding the timeline for OM which is now confirmed to launch in the first quarter of 2025.

While KYC and migration currently can fulfill the requirements by 12/31/2024, there are still 20 applications that need to be finalized. CT has conveyed their rationale behind adjusting the initial plan: they aim to ensure that KYCed and migrated wallets are treated equally and to encourage broader participation among pioneers in the upcoming OM.

CT has assured us that there will be no further extensions, indicating that the latest anticipated date for the OM is March 31, 2025, or potentially even earlier.

Given the current migration pace of 200,000 per day, it is estimated that it will take approximately two months to align with KYC 18 million. However, KYC numbers will continue to rise, suggesting that the most probable date for the OM probably will be March 31.

I encourage all pioneers to maintain a positive outlook during this time. CT has provided detail reasoning for the delay and is committed no any extension anymore.

It is also noteworthy that pioneers who have successfully completed KYC but have not yet migrated will still have the opportunity to participate in the OM alongside us. By the time of the OM, probably over 40% of pioneers will have Pi available in their wallets.

Our GCV Ambassadors play a crucial role in educating our community. With more pioneers holding Pi, we must remain vigilant about potential risks associated with the black market. Nevertheless, I am confident that the Pioneers Handbook will be instrumental in addressing these challenges and meanwhile our education GCV Ambassadors can help all pioneers complete their main net checklist on time to help CT complete the tasks sooner. Moreover, the continuation of partial Pi payments will continue and so that we can attract more merchants for MapofPi. Partial Pi payment can help merchants to alleviate cash flow concerns.

From my perspective, CT want to give ample time for ecosystem development so that the OM be successful.

Let us take a moment to celebrate the achievements we have made thus far and continue our dedicated efforts moving forward.

Forget about KYC and Migration for a moment.With 14+ Million KYC'd and 7+ Million Mainnet Migrated,it's easy for CT to reach 10 Million Mainnet Migrated in a short time.Until now,the pattern of KYC'd and Migrated has always been 2:1,only CT knows the exact reason.Migration is in their control.The deadline of December 31 (American time) will reach 15 Million KYC'd and 10 Million Mainnet Migrated.

It looks like the Open Network will really depend on the readiness of 100 dApps.The last update about dApps is September 14,2024 (Incubator Program),exactly 2 days after the last collaboration between Mr. Kosasih and Mr.CryptoGing on September 12 updating PiDAOLab (pi-apps).If we refer to the CT's announcement on September 14,then the first Incubator Program will end on December 12.We really hope on that date there will be big news about the Open Network.

As African GCV leaders, it is essential that we emphasize the importance of education and orientation to the roles pioneers must play in enhancing the Pi Network. With the approaching Open Main-net launch, pioneers need to understand their responsibilities in supporting and advancing the ecosystem. One of the most significant aspects of this is the adoption of the Global Consensus Value (GCV) of 314,159 USD per Pi. This value represents the collective agreement of our community and is key to maintaining the integrity and strength of the Pi economy.

By valuing Pi at 314,159 USD, we are setting a clear direction for how Pi can be used as a powerful medium of exchange in both local and global markets. It is imperative that we educate pioneers on the importance of adopting and using this value in all transactions within our ecosystem. This includes fostering the use of Pi for goods and services, supporting decentralized applications (dApps), and ensuring that Pi is recognized and respected as a valuable digital asset. Our mission goes beyond expanding the network—it includes equipping pioneers with the knowledge and tools needed to fully participate in this new digital economy. We must ensure that pioneers understand how the Pi Ecosystem operates and how their commitment to the GCV 314,159 USD will shape the future of Pi Network. Distinguished audience of the 3rd GCV-OM world conference on 6/28/2024.

Since the creation of humanity, it is a unique fact of its kind that 55 million people in the world are actively united and work together and hard on the assembly, maturity and success of a common project such as "Pi Network" in which the world population will soon take part for a common cause: the adoption of Pi as a universal digital currency and the use of its ecosystem by the whole world.

The journey together to date has already lasted 5 years. The keen wish of all representatives of the global Pi community is that now this project will be open to pioneers and all humanity at P2Day 2024. On behalf of the Pi community of Burundi, I join my voice with that of the international community in asking the core team that OM and GCV be celebrated on June 28, 2024. Without repeating the observations of the previous interventions of my GCV ambassador colleagues from my country who spoke during the 1st and 2nd world conferences, I would like to indicate how our community is doing its part to prepare for OM by supporting the consensual value of Pi equivalent to 314,159 US dollars.

Since 2019, in fact, a good number of pioneer community leaders have been carrying out educational awareness campaigns on the fundamental values of Pi Network, offline and online events and local meetings with a view to creating as many Pi accounts as possible and making them active, check them, connect to social networks dedicated to the Pi network and encourage their active participation. In the task of community mobilization and support for the GCV campaign, it should be noted that SIIB Network, winner of the very first Hackaton, has been exemplary in Burundi, in some neighboring countries and elsewhere in Africa.

The contribution of commercial companies like BUPICO, NURU as well as several independent pioneer leaders is very commendable. I'm very thankful to them. As far as I am concerned in particular as GCV Country Manager of Burundi, I am dedicated body and soul to community organization and education, with an emphasis on the establishment of a multifunctional cooperative society composed of 70 founders from 5 out of 5 provinces according to the new administrative subdivision, 180 representatives of intermediate-scale branches according to the old administrative subdivision made up of 18 former provinces and 420 representatives of municipal branches in 42 municipalities in our country. Representatives of the Burundian diaspora are also fully involved in the establishment of the network, starting with the countries of the Southern African Development Community (South Africa, Malawi and Zambia) and in the countries of the East Community (Tanzania, Congo DRC, Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya). I have already visited most of these countries for all intents and purposes, before and after 2020. Before the OM, we are hard at work developing and executing a consensual action plan with a view to a digital transformation of the living conditions of people, households, communities and our Nation。

The activities to be carried out together in an inclusive pioneer-non-pioneer approach are as follows:
1. Community supervision for the adoption and use of the Pi currency in particular and e-commerce in general
2. Commercial production of the primary sector (agriculture, livestock, fish farming) traditionally geared towards subsistence
3. Import-export and merchant services such as shipping, warehousing, distribution
4. The development of the tertiary sector (various offline & online services, professions, offline businesses; etc.)
5. Mass adoption of new technologies and the fight against their harmful effects using a community approach.

As the administrative and management structures of our cooperative society cannot encompass everyone, everything will be done to serve everyone, and online collaborative relationships will be established without exclusivity and without borders. I invite investors, traders and industrialists to visit Burundi in the era of the digital revolution.
