No Marvel Lego calendar this year. I bought two Star Wars Lego ones instead, 2025 and one I missed in 2016. 2025 was disappointing, look at the amount of minifigs compared to 2016! With no Marvel and a lack of effort in the Star Wars calendar, I feel Lego is giving up on these.
Recent Lego builds: An arcade machine and the Nintendo Game Boy set. The arcade machine opens up and there's a lil gaming room inside!

#31NightsOfHorror: EXTENDED EDITION! This has been on my watchlist for ages. I thought it was just a random โ80s horror movie and had no idea it was from Scott Spiegel and Lawrence Bender - long-time collaborators of Sam Raimi and Quentin Tarantino, respectively.
INTRUDER (1989)
#31NightsOfHorror: EXTENDED EDITION! One my favourite horror movies of all time is now on 4K UHD:
THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD (1985)
This beautiful collector's edition from @ArrowFilmsVideo comes with a booklet, plus double sided poster and sleeve.
Thereโs something special about owning your movies. Not streaming, not renting. Actually owning them. Holding the case, reading the liner notes, popping in the disc and watching it fire up in full quality.
Physical Media isnโt just about resolution or sound. Itโs about memory. That shelf you built over the years, the movies you watched with family, the ones you saved for rainy nights or big weekends. Every disc has a story.
Weโre not just collectors. Weโre curators of our own cinematic history. And no algorithm can take that away.
#31NightsOfHorror: EXTENDED EDITION!
This movie erroneously appeared on a #UniversalMonsters list, although it has absolutely nothing to do with Universal. I figured I'd give it a whirl anyway!
THE MONSTER AND THE GIRL (1941)
Horror is for life. Not just for Halloween ๐
WE DID IT AGAIN! Another #31NightsOfHorror comes to an end! I'd been putting off this season as I thought a month of old movies might get dull, but I enjoyed it! In fact, some of these movies were only an hour long which was refreshing.
The final #UniversalMonsters list:
@AlbinoBandit@TheFearMerchant@Horror31@MFFHorrorCorner One of the most beautifully shot movies of the classic universal era of horror movies. A movie we got a modern take on even if it wasnโt the Gill-Man himself. I still with Universal would give us a modern version of this storyโฆjust without Tom Cruise in any way
