I am a mechanical-engineering dropout.

I struggle with the physics of LEGO building, and hit a harsh limit on the scale I can build mechs at. Seeing LEGO release a set at this scale has me inspired, I will absolutely study this set for ideas.

When I was in elementary school, we watched a few VHS tapes, spotlights into other cultures, Spain, etc.

The kids weren't shown with any video games or LEGO, so I left with the assumption that every country outside the US was living in horrific poverty.

In hindsight, LEGO Universe should have had space combat with its rockets instead of racing. It could much more readily integrated into LU's plot, structure, and major LEGO themes, and space combat is awesome.
