@BigHungryShelby Sorry I can't offer words of comfort. I have been in the same position and gave up. Haven't been able to garner enough motivation to try again :/ hopefully you'll have better luck.

@LanahanCole What about those who were dropped by their agency because their manuscript "would take too much time and cost too much to get publishing ready"?

[A. L. Diaz @ALDiaz357]

@AngelleTerrell Is it too late? :/

[A. L. Diaz @ALDiaz357]

@CandiceYamnitz Sure

[A. L. Diaz @ALDiaz357]

@CandiceYamnitz I'm a Hispanic female pitching a wwii book with a male German protagonist. I've been asked why I don't write about my experience as a Hispanic female and that I should write about that instead..

[A. L. Diaz @ALDiaz357]

@ALDiaz357 Like what?

[A. L. Diaz @ALDiaz357]

@CandiceYamnitz I do historical fiction, but I definitely feel like I have a number of things against me.

[A. L. Diaz @ALDiaz357]

@CandiceYamnitz I was hoping to get an agent, but that dream is dying very quickly

Decided to reinstall Twitter. Almost two years off and already regret coming back. Everyone getting #published and celebrating thousands of followers. Meanwhile, I have a rescinded contract and a negligible voice in a universe of big personalities...
