Ten Thousand Tokens was the first project to implement these avvatars.
What we did was reimplement the core algorithm in Solidity so it runs directly on the Ethereum blockchain.
Same logic. Take a seed, hash it, decide which cells to fill, mirror for symmetry, but written in a completely different language that executes on-chain.
We also made these specific changes:
-Expanded grid sizes from just 5ร5 to ten sizes (1ร1 through 10ร10)
-Added rarity tiers based on grid size
-Pre-assigned traits to all 5,000 tokens before mint to guarantee no duplicates
-Added 10 legendary 1ร1 tokens with unique color palettes and white backgrounds
-Added 16 color palettes instead of the original black/white
-Built full ERC-721 metadata with 7 on-chain traits
