BGC has a v effective deep catch basin under Burgos Circle that keeps the area flood-free. I don't understand the hate on this well-planned urban space.
Maybe we should direct our frustration towards those in power who could implement same improvements in our public communities?

It's good that BGC is divisive and the disparity is making people mad. It's good that people want to understand and talk about why it doesn't flood there. It's good that people care about urban plannning!
