An incredible mural finishing up at the @NYSFair by street artist Arcy. Check out how it transitions from NYS icons, to essential workers (with a cameo in the video from my coworker @shalonstevenstv) He’s been spending six hours a day spray painting this work of art!

Man, some of these social media comments make it seem like people were rooting for a direct hit. Truly head-scratching. Why can't we all be HAPPY that the storm took a last minute turn and missed a devastating hit on our beautiful island??

[Alec Zuch @AlecZuch]

Wishing you nothing but smiles and happiness in this next chapter of your life, Brooke!! 🙂

LIFE UPDATE: Today is my last day on air for @SPECNews1ROC and @SPECNews1BUF. It was a difficult decision, and one that took me almost two years to make, but I am looking forward to weekends with my family…

A severe thunderstorm WATCH is now in effect until 11 PM.

This does not mean storms are occurring, but that the potential is there. The set up is good.

Now is the time to get aware, as storms continue to march towards the region from Canada. 🇨🇦⛈

[Alec Zuch @AlecZuch]

We have a slight risk for severe weather today. The main area of focus will be the North Country and areas along the Thruway.

Damaging winds, hail, localized flooding/flash flooding are all concerns. Stay weather aware late afternoon/early evening!
