SAHR highlighted that the veteran journalist had been hosting the programme for the past 11 years, reporting from across Pakistan, including conflict zones and other sensitive areas, while bringing independent, ground-level reporting and informed public discourse to viewers.SAHR observed and expressed serious concern over the persistent and escalating efforts to stifle press freedom and freedom of expression in Pakistan.

"The development arises amid the rapidly shrinking space for media freedom and the continuing restrictions on freedom of expression in Pakistan," stated the network in a press release. "The abrupt removal of a long-running current affairs programme hosted by one of the country’s most respected journalists raises serious concerns regarding editorial independence, the ability of journalists to report freely, and the broader state of democratic freedoms. It is also critical to note that, over the past three years, several journalists have been forcibly removed from mainstream broadcast platforms. Ms. Jahangir is the latest to be taken off air."

یہ وہ شخص ہے جس کی بیٹی نے نادانی میں غلطی کی اس نے جان نہیں چھڑائی بلکہ بیٹی کو اپنایا اس کو سمجھا کہ یہ نادان ہے اس کو بہت بڑے بلڈر سے بچایا۔۔

ابھی کل کی بات ہے سندھ میں ایک بیغیرت باپ نے بیٹی کے سینے میں دو گولیاں ماردیں ختم کردیا یہ کہاں کی غئرت ہے؟

اجکل کے مردوں کو بستر پہ تو عورت چاہے ہے مگر اگر گھر میں بیٹی آجائے یا وہ کسی کو پسند کرلے یہ بات گوارہ نہیں۔

دعا زہرہ کا باپ کاظمی صاحب چاہتا تو جان چھڑوا سکتا تھا لیکن نہیں اسنے بیٹی کا مستقبل دیکھا آج یہ لڑکی ڈاکٹر بن رہی ہے مسقبل کی بہت بڑی ڈاکٹر بن کے دنیا کیلئے اپنے بابا کی مثال دے گی کہ میرے بابا نے کیسے مجھے بچایا تھا درندوں سے۔

پلیز اگر بیٹی غلطی کرلے تو اس سدھارتے ہیں اگر کسی کو پسند کرلے تو پیار سے سمجھاتے ہیں اگر رشتہ اچھا ہے تو ضد انا نہیں کرتے بلکہ بات کرکے نکاح کی طرف لے جاتے ہیں۔ زندگی میں کوئی ایسا شخص جسنے کسی کو چاہ نہ ہو۔
