Rosalin is a bioinformatician at @aberdeenuni, using comparative and functional genomics to examine the adaptive potential of predatory mite species

First up is is Viktor (with a "k"), one of our co-chairs! 🎉

Viktor is an evolutionary biologist at @UZH_en where he studies sexual selection, signalling and immune vs. reproduction trade-off

...and this is Anastasia's very good boy: Sir Paddington Sniffs A Lot, or Paddy to his pals! 🐶

He was a stray from Cyprus but is now a therapy dog for @PetAndCompanion, giving lots of cuddles to the students at @aberdeenuni

He'll be at #EMPSEB28 too, ready for big belly rubs!

Anastasia is a molecular and evolutionary biologist at the @aberdeenuni, using functional genomics and epigenetics to understand the evolution of learning and behaviour in a brainless blob - the slime mould, Physarum polycephalum!

The issue with getting a dog that weighs > 1/2 your body weight, has a v high pray drive & v poor recall is that there will be a day where your dogs sees a rabbit & succeeds in pulling you flat onto your face and dragging you 3m cross ground

Today, was that day for me 🫠

@spreadshirt I'm incredibly displeased that I was unexpectedly charged £77 in import tax when ordering a few t-shirts form you. There was no warning that this could happen. Had I of known I wouldn't ordered form else where 😡😡😡
