@Sysartz My current setup cost me 40 bucks and can play anything up to GameCube + ps2 games and you can cut that in half by excluding ps2 games and yeah gaming is a privilege but so is almost every hobby ever made
@FoolPlanet I remember the day it got announced on switch I was so excited I was at a friend's place and on my way home I picked up an eShop card to immediately buy the game
@KatFloofy@Ryan25700722538@Kars2B And they still engaged with the work, you won't get all art in your life but they still gof infinitely more of the experience than someone who watches playthroughs and reads wikis
@V_rbatim@TsukiiSparda But acting like reading the script of the movie is anything like the experience of watching it is just not true and ignores what makes movies a unique medium for art. Of course you can enjoy whatever you want but the point is not to act like you experienced the actual work
@YuruAza@ThatTallGuy02@noteunibuni Which is fundamentally a different experience than playing the game yourself. This isn't to say you're not allowed to enjoy watching other people play games, just that you have not experienced the game itself
@Sianide227@imuttjx I'm tired of people pretending story and gameplay in games are these two separate entities that don't have any bearing on each other
