Looking forward to getting this back. A lot of the struggle with a small account is trying to dodge larger losses without sizing in a way that keeps you out of the big gains. Today I missed a couple of green trades but caught the red ones. It happens.

@fifi_trades @over_caffein8ed I have all of your trades since August loaded into Claude. Any higher percentage or cap (based on historical trades) will deploy more cash than I have in the account at the time. Claude’s recommendation is disabling puts and increasing the size of calls slightly.

Today was not a pretty day, but a little context is needed. The SOFI trade was entered when I first started following Fifi in August. I had him set with no cap, which got me into a much larger position than I should have with my smaller account. Ending balance today 9.1k

Recap from today: After doing comparisons over the weekend decided to change the per cap amount to $700 so I am mirroring at 18% proportional to @fifi_trades with a $700 cap.

@fifi_trades @Alertsify True, but I’m hoping to prove that it will still work out in the long run. Also, at points my trims get me out before the trade turns the other direction and I sometimes come out better (not that often though).

@fifi_trades @Alertsify Started with no cap which was a mistake on my part and allowed some positions to get too big. Changed it after the first couple of weeks and has made a big difference. I do not get too participate in all of the trades, and that is ok.

Early on, my position sizing wasn't dialed in — too large for a $10k account, which drove some of the worst days including the SOFI trade. Since October: capped at 18% proportional per position ($500 max, so ~5% real risk), and no more 0DTE on Fridays.
