🤯 Want to geek out on why EUV machines are INSANE? (Size of a bus, mirrors smoother than ice, lasers hotter than the sun, 100k components, price tag $250m...Made only by Dutch giant @ASMLcompany — until now?

🚨 BREAKING: China just built its first EUV lithography prototype—the machine the US & West desperately tried to block forever.
This powers the world's most advanced chips (AI, phones, weapons). Prototype done in early 2025, testing now. Realistic first chips: 2030 - way ahead of old estimates.
The new Cold War just got hotter. 🔥🇨🇳 vs 🌍 #ChinaTech #Semiconductors #ChipWar
@wbd reportedly plans to rebuff @paramountco’s $108B hostile offer, despite the bid valuing the assets at $30/share vs. ~$27.75 standalone and a ~$25B premium to the $82.7B EV of studio + streaming. Hard to justify
@wolfejosh@elonmusk Once fusion is achieved, isn’t it clearly the superior path? Cleaner, safer, virtually unlimited fuel, and no long-lived waste or meltdown risks. SMRs are great for now, but they’re still fission-based.
@ramez The technology gap is getting smaller and smaller even for semi. Restricting export won’t avoid China to find their way. The only solution is to keep the competing advantage
@paramountco launching a hostile takeover for @wbd . Legacy media is officially in the endgame: undervalued assets, heavy debt loads, and streaming economics are pushing Hollywood into a new era of consolidation. 🍿

Okay @Google, time to remake some good AI glasses. Please partner with @EssiLux and don’t come up with the past nerdy design that only Silicon Valley engineers like.
Google cooked so hard. Not gonna lie, this feels like the future is here.
Now develop Google Glasses with enough battery power, a good chip, and a look like Ray-Bans, and you'll have an instant hit. 100%.
$6.25 billion. 25 million children. $250 each.
Susan and I believe the smartest investment we can make is in children. That’s why we’re so excited to contribute $6.25 billion from our charitable funds to help 25 million children start building a strong financial foundation through Invest America. 💪📈🇺🇸

Amazon is the latest to release its own AI chip.
Custom silicon is becoming a moat for hyperscalers (Amazon, Google, Microsoft), but only when paired with an equally strong software ecosystem.
Hyperscalers can’t rely solely on Nvidia anymore because:
1. Nvidia captures 60–70%+ of the value chain’s margins
2. GPU supply remains constrained
3. Outsourcing compute to a single vendor creates strategic dependency
The war on margins is now being fought at the chip level and in the software stack.

Marvell is reported to be in advanced talk to buy Celestial AI, a photonic startup with great demos but little revenue. The deal could be valued at $5B+.
History says 80–90% of deals like this torch shareholder value.
3–5 year roadmap + AI FOMO = classic overpay risk.
Great news for investors, questionable
for $MRVL shareholders.

For years, semis were dismissed as too slow + too costly (“$5M+ for an ASIC” was the mantra entrepreneurs heard), while VCs chased apps, e-comm, fintech. Now the deeptech renaissance is here, driven by AI, geopolitics & supply chains. Big congrats to Rivos, chip developer on open-source RISC-V, for his EXIT! 🚀

Goodbye to Pasquale Pistorio, visionary leader, who built STMicroelectronics into a global powerhouse. A master of value creation in action. 🌟
