I traveled to Miami to sit down with Head Coach Mario Cristobal.
We talked about what Miami means to him after growing up there, playing there, and now leading the program as head coach.
We discussed the lessons he learned from Nick Saban, how he bounced back from a tough start at FIU, and why building a championship team always starts in the trenches.
Miami is back in the national conversation, and Cristobal’s goal is simple: bring a championship back to Coral Gables.
This is Mario Cristobal: UNFILTERED.
OUT NOW!!
.@SenWarren All of our assets are invested in a blind trust by the largest financial institutions in broad market indexes. To suggest that individual stocks are being bought or sold, at the discretion of any member of the Trump family, would be a lie and blatantly false. Using a silly example, if you buy the “Schwab 1000,” you will get some exposure to Nvidia - as well as a 1,000 other U.S. companies large- and mid-cap stocks. It’s completely disingenuous to represent anything to the contrary. Please be better than this…
BREAKING: The #Dolphins and Pro Bowl RB De'Von Achane have agreed to a 4-year extension worth $68M, making him the NFL’s 3rd-highest-paid RB at $17M per year with $32M guaranteed, per multiple sources.
The APY and guarantees are the most ever for RBs coming off rookie contracts in a deal negotiated by @Leah_Knight of @RocNationSports.
🚨NEW: Stephen A. Smith on losing friends over politics🔥
"They don’t realize: you did me a FAVOR. I didn’t know that our friendship was that fragile ... Kick rocks, go to h*ll, get out my life! I don’t want to see you or talk to you EVER again."

Draymond on the DWade and Pat Bev beef:
“I will say Pat Bev coming out and throwing that three point percentage out, was hilarious. Well, Pat Bev the defense was guarding y’all a lil bit different brotha.” 😅

He was 5 years old when his parents had to make an unthinkable choice.
Keep their son with them under communism.
Or send him away alone so he could have a shot at freedom.
That was Andy Garcia’s reality.
And he was not the only one. Thousands of Cuban children were separated from their families because their parents knew what that system was doing.
It was not just taking homes or businesses. It was trying to control people completely. Their future. Their beliefs. Their identity. Their freedom.
Imagine being forced to choose between raising your child and saving your child.
Some families reunited.
A lot of them never did.
Now look at Cuba today.
Cubans are sitting in the dark without electricity.
They are struggling to eat.
They are in the streets banging pots because it is the only way left to make noise.
And while that is happening, these activists fly in, sit in air conditioned buildings, speak into microphones, eat catered food, and call it solidarity.
Give me a break.
You cannot claim to stand with oppressed people while being hosted comfortably inside the system crushing them.
That is not compassion.
That is not solidarity.
It is performance.
It is propaganda tourism.
Cubans are not asking for luxury.
They are not asking for pity.
They are asking for freedom.
And no staged event, no fake activism, and no polished propaganda trip is going to change that.
As a Cuban refugee and former political prisoner, I am appalled that you and your daughter are supporting the regime that has oppressed us for 67 years. The aid does not reach ordinary Cubans—it is sold in dollar stores—while you help whitewash a dictatorship. Shame on you, and shame on your daughter.
Funny you say this. As someone who’s played with Castellanos. Hes a great teammate. His mentality is similar to Kobe’s. He doesn’t accept mediocrity. People hate that kind of leadership, he holds people accountable, and the other 2 I’ve never heard anything bad about them.
Jackson Merrill on welcoming reported new teammate Nick Castellanos after what transpired in Philadelphia:
“Nick can be himself and he can do whatever he wants in our clubhouse…I think he’s going to come in here and we’re all going to look at him as a new human being.”
I’m sorry… but NOTHING that Nick Castellanos has done for the #Phillies or this city during his tenure has warranted the way Dave Dombrowski has handled this situation.
The organization should be absolutely embarrassed and players around the league should take notice. 👀
