Philip Morris announced in March 2022 it intended to exit Russia. SEC filings through mid-2026 still showed Russia at ~6% of net revenues and ~9% of shipment volume.

The drone that carried out the strike was built mostly from Chinese components.

The world has gone mad.
And soon this hell will come to other countries too. Because unpunished evil always grows.
First scene: Donald Trump Jr. is taking money from the Kremlin. Next scene: Trump is telling Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to go to Moscow. Quite an interesting sequence.
This article is very good because it talks about how Ukraine's 🇺🇦 mid-range strike campaign continues, the same way as before, with less media coverage.
All the data I'm collecting confirms mid-range strikes continue at a similar pace to the past few months.

In 2026, Russia 🇷🇺 barely advanced in Ukraine 🇺🇦 but continued to update their official maps and claims.
This gives more than 5 000 km2 difference between the reality and what Russia claims.

🔴 A false claim that UNITED24 pays influencers $50,000 to support Ukraine originated on The Tucker Carlson Show.
These allegations were made by Carlson’s guest—"Elizabeth Lane".
However, investigations reveal she is a pro-Kremlin activist linked to an FSB officer.
Cooperation with @U24_gov_ua is strictly unpaid, and these false claims directly erode support for Ukraine and peace efforts.
Bulgarians detained over Munich arson were part of GRU-linked group operating from Slovakia
Investigators have linked both the Munich attack and the Aug. 4 sabotage attempt at Leipzig airport to Russia’s GRU military intelligence agency, per @faznet.

Unfinished homework.
By a 14-year-old kid killed by russia.
Kyiv, September 25, 2026.
Never forget a single war crime and their victims. Their future could’ve been bright, if russia hadn’t murdered them.
Yesterday in New York City, I had the incredible honor of receiving the Order of Princess Olga, III Degree from President Volodymyr Zelenskyy @ZelenskyyUa .
It is difficult to put into words what this moment meant to me.
I have been supporting Ukraine and our Defense Forces since 2014. What started long before the full-scale invasion became an even bigger responsibility after February 2022 and eventually grew into Liberty Ukraine @LibertyUkraineF and the incredible community standing behind it today.
This recognition is not mine alone. I carry it for every person behind Liberty Ukraine - our volunteers, donors, partners, friends, and, most importantly, the Ukrainian defenders who trust us to stand beside them.
For more than four years, Liberty Ukraine has been built on one simple principle: show up and do the work. No matter how difficult it gets. No matter how tired we are. No matter how impossible something may seem.
Yesterday, I also gave President Zelenskyy our Liberty Ukraine patch and told him the story behind our logo.
Our logo is formed from 27 parts - 24 oblasts, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, and our two cities with special status, Kyiv and Sevastopol - together representing Ukraine.
And that is why one dot in our logo is intentionally missing.
Because Ukraine is not complete until every part of it is free and back home.
That little patch carries everything Liberty Ukraine stands for - freedom, unity, and a Ukraine that is whole.
I am deeply grateful for this honor and even more grateful for the responsibility that comes with it.
We keep going.
For Ukraine. For our people. For liberty. 🇺🇦
I'd encourage everyone to read the Danish military intelligence assessment in full, and not rely on excitable social media upsums.
Here is the top line: "The Danish Defence Intelligence Service (DDIS) assesses that Russia will intensify its hybrid war by carrying out more frequent attacks against the West and NATO, with greater consequences for the targeted countries than in the past. This could include destructive cyber attacks that cripple critical societal functions as well as sabotage attacks that carry a high risk of casualties."
In other words, Russia will continue doing what it's already doing (terrorist attacks against hard and soft targets, cyberoperations), only more so. This is an uncontroversial assessment across Western intelligence services, so far as I've been able to determine.
DDIS continues: "At the same time, there is a low but growing risk that Russia will launch a limited military attack against one or several NATO countries bordering Russia....Such a limited military attack could take the form of isolated strikes with long‑range weapons on infrastructure that is vital to the support to Ukraine. In this situation, Russia might then claim that the weapons only struck NATO territory because they were jammed by Ukraine. It could also be a so-called false flag operation, where Russia uses Ukrainian‑made drones to attack a NATO country."
The scenario envisaged here (a low but growing risk) is a plausibly deniable conventional attack by Russia. The objective would be twofold. First, to sow panic and confusion in the targeted country or countries, and encourage skepticism of the official government version of what just happened. "Maybe it was the Ukrainians." "Maybe it was an accident." "Maybe no attack took place and the deep state is trying to foment World War III."
Thirty seconds on this hellsite should be enough to convince you that counterfactual narratives would be easy enough to amplify, especially in countries with elections forthcoming. A "limited military attack" psychologically would just be a heightened form of "hybrid" war because it's designed to overwhelm and demoralize the population and make its think that supporting Ukraine just isn't worth it since those not at war are now liable to become collateral damage.
The second objective of such an attack would be to gauge NATO's response to it -- and this is key bit, because, as DDIS also states:
"Russia will likely carry out military attacks only if it assesses that such attacks will not result in a war by triggering a collective NATO military response. However, Russia is likely uncertain about what could trigger such a war. Consequently, there is a risk that Russia assesses that the NATO countries will not respond collectively, especially if Russia assesses that the United States cannot or will not support the European NATO countries in a potential war against Russia." (Italics added.)
You wouldn't be wrong to detect a hint of political messaging here. (All intel services deny they do any such thing but they all do.) This is Denmark, a country that just stared down a possible U.S. invasion and annexation of Greenland, which would have meant the disintegration of NATO.
Trump has spent his entire second term (and much of his first term) doubting the Inviolability of Article V. His Pentagon has given NATO allies questionnaires to fill out to prove their worthiness as allies, while it undergoes a force posture review with ominous media leaks about what Bridge Colby and his minion might do (25,000 U.S. troops withdrawn, a scuppered U.S. base in Poland, etc.)
Now comes a frenzy of intelligence reporting across Europe about a possible Russian attack on NATO, all kickstarted by a CIA briefing delivered to the Poles, Scandinavians and Balts months ago with a warning that they're probably on their own if and when such an attack happens.
Never let a good crisis go to waste... Russia isn't sure what would trigger a war with NATO, so how might NATO make it sure? A "limited military attack" can be deterred if Washington telegraphs its intent to enforce Article V in word and deed by stating clearly and repeatedly what would constitute a casus belli in 2026 and, of course, by keeping U.S. troops in Europe.
This is Radio Svoboda interview with the volunteer working with Oleshky. Everyone should hear/read this!
Iryna-Ester Vrataryova, volunteer: "People describe the horror, the total genocide. This famine has reached such a scale that, in the best-case scenario, a person might eat a clear broth and a few spoonfuls of porridge a day—if they have any porridge left at all. All the supplies that local residents tell me about whenever a connection is established are running out and will be gone by late September or early October. They are left entirely without food, medicine, access to medical care, fire services, or money, and without even being able to safely step outside. I'm not even talking about trying to escape, though sometimes people choose to walk through a minefield because they see a higher chance of survival there than dying of starvation. We are looking at absolute, total horror in the center of Europe—total ethnocide."
Host: "Tell me, regarding the situation in Oleshky—since you monitor other occupied territories, or at least areas where you carry out evacuations—is this a unique situation, or is the food shortage widespread across the entire south?"
Iryna-Ester: "We believe a situation like this could unfold anywhere under occupation. That's why we urge relatives and acquaintances in government-controlled areas to reach out to us, our partners, the Ombudsman, or anyone who can help. Staying there is extremely dangerous for people; it is a lawless territory."
Host: "So as of right now, is the situation in Oleshky the worst and truly unique compared to all other areas?"
Iryna-Ester: "In my experience, absolutely. I have never seen such a total mousetrap. Everywhere else, there were at least micro-chances of escape. Oleshky leaves no such chance because the occupiers have mined everything surrounding it. The people who managed to escape are literally a handful—and those were earlier cases; no one is escaping now. The entire area is controlled by drones. We are all familiar with the term 'Kherson safaris' regarding what they do on the Right Bank, but I have testimony showing that on the Left Bank, they are honing their skills on local civilians as well."
