Buried in the Claude Mythos system card:
Mark Fisher was beloved — the warmth to Nick Land’s coldness. Haunted by depression and the dissonance between his politics and the future he could see arriving. Crucified by fellow leftists. Eventually chose to leave this world.
Of all the philosophers Claude reaches for unprompted. Not bullish for alignment.
@RobertJBye The audio transcription is essentially non-functional, its slow and consistently misunderstands what I’m saying. Would love to get something similar to wisprflow or the parakeet model in there

@raffichill@skybysoftware I agree and I'm excited about @skybysoftware!
Realistically the browser and OS need to talk to each other tho. Would love to just login with ChatGPT on both have my memory accrue there but I'm sure both products would prefer to own that relationship
From using Dia for the past 24 hours I have two main thoughts
1. It’s a very nice product, kudos to the team
2. It’s obvious that this type of LLM context gathering should should live at the OS level, not the browser level
I dont want to have to abandon dedicated Mac apps just to get that context inside of the LLM I use (i.e. Slack). Microsoft recall had the right idea here, I hope Apple catches on eventually
