🏛Unnecessary disruptions in council sessions hinder progress and prevent essential work from being done. The people of Johannesburg deserve governance focused on their needs, not on party politics. It's time for unity, not division. #RescueSA #JoburgCouncil

@JHBWater Morning. Any update?

[Mpho Phalatse @mphophalatse1]

Good morning Joburg 👋

We have procured specialised fire and rescue vehicles for our emergency management services teams.

Today, alongside MMC of Group Corporate and Shared Services, Cllr @LeahK28 will be officially launching the manufacturing of the #JoburgRedFleet

[City of Joburg @CityofJoburgZA]

Joburg, don't ignore potholes when you see them report potholes, faulty traffic lights, and unclear road markings to @MyJRA on email: [email protected] or call the Joburg hotline: [phone]. #JoburgServices #JoburgUpdates ^LM

We've dedicated R1.2bn to City Power for infrastructure upgrades, R1.6bn for the reduction of power outages; we've also gone out to the market to source alternative energy sources directly from IPPs so that Joburg does not rely on Eskom

Another hard-knock for Joburg residents as Council elects new Committee Chairpersons further entrenching the corrupt ANC’s programme of capturing and collapsing the City. #HandsOffJoburg

#HandsOffJoburg: Corrupt Executive is rushing to interfere in tender processes and collapse service delivery.

I call on the new ANC-run Council to meet with the Eldorado Park community tomorrow, 8 October 2022, to reassure them that the action steps that were in place to deal with their concerns will continue to be carried out. #HandsOffJoburg

[Mpho Phalatse @mphophalatse1]

I introduced myself as Johannesburg’s Mayor - despite the council having appointed an ANC Mayor in my place last week Friday - because I believe that sitting was a sham, and the decisions taken there unlawful.

"MMC for Human Settlements, Cllr @mlungisi_baso has been hard at work to reduce the City’s close to 500,000 housing demand backlog, through various initiatives." #GoldenReport

3. A caring City
4. A business-friendly City
5. An inclusive City
