Nahhhh. You clearly did NOT read my post. Because if you had actually read and understood it, you would have noticed that I explicitly addressed this exact issue. when i wrote:
"However, there is a fundamental difference between a player's contractual rights and his sporting selection.
Musa has a contract with Pogon Szczecin. He does NOT have a contractual guarantee to play football matches, be selected for the matchday squad or start games. Those decisions belong entirely and exclusively to Oscar Garcia and his coaching staff. Neither ownership nor management dictates those selections."
The more our supporters publicly demand that a particular player leave the Club, the more complicated they can make our efforts to actually transfer that player. Constant public attacks do not increase a player's market value, attract interested clubs or strengthen our negotiating position. Quite the opposite. They can damage the player's reputation, weaken our bargaining power and make an already difficult situation even harder.
In Musa's case, he has a legally binding, guaranteed professional contract with Pogon Szczecin for approximately another two years. This is not something the Club can simply ignore because supporters are unhappy with his performances.
Under Article 13 of FIFA's Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (RSTP), contracts must be respected and generally remain in force until their agreed expiry or termination by mutual agreement. Article 14 also protects players against abusive conduct intended to force them into terminating or changing their contracts.
That means we cannot simply tell Musa, "You are no longer welcome here. You cannot train. Stay home until your contract expires." We have contractual and professional obligations, including providing appropriate training conditions and respecting his rights as a professional footballer. Deliberately isolating a player to pressure him into leaving can expose a club to serious legal and financial consequences.
However, there is a fundamental difference between a player's contractual rights and his sporting selection.
Musa has a contract with Pogon Szczecin. He does NOT have a contractual guarantee to play football matches, be selected for the matchday squad or start games. Those decisions belong entirely and exclusively to Oscar Garcia and his coaching staff. Neither ownership nor management dictates those selections.
As for why Musa travelled with the team for our last match, my assumption is very simple: we were short of available players, particularly left-footed players, and the coaching staff needed options. That is a perfectly reasonable sporting decision made by Oscar Garcia.
You do not have to like every player. You do not have to agree with every selection. But please understand the difference between running a professional football club and managing a fantasy football team.
We cannot tear up legally binding contracts, disregard FIFA regulations or destroy a player's professional rights because somebody on social media demands it.
Our responsibility is to protect Pogon Szczecin, both financially and sporting-wise. Sometimes that requires patience, discipline and decisions that are more complicated than shouting "GET RID OF HIM!"
And one final point: If you genuinely want a player transferred, publicly destroying his reputation and market value every single day is probably the worst possible way to help your own Club.
It's obvious you did not read my post, and neither did the people liking your comment!
You cannot simply throw a player out and tear up his contract because you don't want him anymore!
Under FIFA Articles 13 and 17, contracts must be respected. Unjustified termination can result in substantial compensation and sporting sanctions. Failure to comply with a binding FIFA payment decision can lead to a TRANSFER BAN!
This is professional football, not FIFA on PlayStation. We operate under contracts, laws and regulations, not the demands on social media!
Our team of @tankesler , @ZDeptula and our Team Manager Daniel, as of 4 weeks ago, officially begun the process of designing and ordering a brand new, state of the art, two storey team bus for Pogon Szczecin.
We are looking at something truly special, featuring a kitchen, dedicated recovery facilities, premium reclining seats with massage functions, and several other features designed to maximize our players' comfort, rest and recovery during long journeys. We will finalize and place our order prior to December 31, 2026.
Pogoń Szczecin travels more than ANY other club in the Ekstraklasa. That is a FACT, not an opinion. This season alone, our team faces approximately 9,474 kilometres of one-way travel, nearly 1,800 kilometres more than the next closest club, 3600 Km round trip. Because of our geographical location, we spend approximately 2.4 MILLION PLN EXTRA on travel, hotels, logistics and meals.
Most of our away matches require travelling by team bus because direct flights are simply not available. This is the reality of being based in Szczecin. We are Pogoń Szczecin, not Barcelona, Manchester City or Liverpool. Travelling by bus is completely normal in Polish football. We are also not operating a fleet of private jets!
Here is what I find absolutely ridiculous. Throughout this season, after our victories, players and coaches have shared photos of our footballers sleeping on the team bus. Just two weeks ago, there were photos of Maciej sleeping on the bus. Everyone thought it was adorable. People laughed, smiled and celebrated.
But suddenly, after ONE defeat, the same people are attacking our coach for posting a photo and attacking the Club because our players travel by bus? I have complete trust in Oscar Garcia. This was a perfectly normal, innocent post. this is not an attack on me or management and any attempt to turn it into a controversy is completely unjustified.
When we win, sleeping on the bus is cute. When we lose, suddenly it's a scandal? That is not constructive criticism. That is hypocrisy.
Our geographical location does not change depending on the result of a football match. Neither do our travel arrangements. We will always do everything reasonably possible to support our players, their recovery and their performance.
Adam, Let me make this absolutely clear. Neither Club management nor our supporters dictate to the head coach which players to select, who makes the matchday squad, who starts, or who plays.
100% of these decisions belong exclusively to our head coach and his coaching staff. We trust them, respect their professional judgment, and do not interfere in their football decisions.
In fact, Club management learns who is in the matchday squad and starting lineup just 90 to 120 minutes before kickoff, like everyone else. No excpetions!
Football ownership has taught me one very painful lesson: how fake, selfish, and disloyal so many people in this world can be.
This is the same team that earned 24 points, the best start in Pogoń's 78-year history. The same team that went almost three and a half months without losing a match.
We finally lose one game, missing our starting No. 6, who, in my opinion, is the best in the Ekstraklasa. Missing Benjamin Mendy, one of the league's top performers. Missing our star starting right back, Linus, his backup Hussein Ali, and even the backup to the backup, Riccio! And let's not forget several other players who were carrying injuries, in pain, but still stepped onto that pitch and fought for our badge.
All this against a talented opponent that has competed in Europe for years and operates with a squad value and budget millions above ours.
And suddenly, some so-called fans start attacking our players, coaches, and management?
Are you serious? Is this what loyalty looks like?
Criticize performances all you want. That's football. But personally insulting and attacking people who have fought for this badge, brought you joy, and made history just because they lost ONE match? That's not passion. That's entitlement, hypocrisy, and a complete lack of character.
I stand by my players, my coaches, and my management. In victory and defeat. They are warriors, they care, and they deserve respect.
Loyalty means nothing if it disappears the moment things get difficult. And if you only support this team when it wins, you're not loyal to Pogoń. You're loyal to winning.
I can assure you of one thing: We will lose more games. There will be matches where we won't play well, where we make mistakes, and where even our best players have bad days. That's football. That's life.. What matters is how we respond, how we fight back, and whether we stand together when things get difficult. Great teams aren't built just by never losing. They're built by refusing to let defeat break them.
All I wanted for my birthday was a quiet, peaceful day, some cake, watch a football match or two, and absolutely NO drama. 🎂😂
Apparently, the universe read my birthday wish, laughed hysterically, and said, “Awww, Alex! That’s adorable. Now hold my beer!”
I want to address the growing speculation surrounding our head coach, Óscar García, and the reported interest from Dinamo Zagreb.
A few months ago, Pogoń Szczecin made a significant decision. We parted ways with our previous coach, placed our trust in Óscar García, and made a serious, long-term commitment to him. We signed a three-year contract with no release clause and no contractual exit option for the coach. That was not an accident. It was a deliberate decision because we believed in Óscar, his abilities, his vision, and the future we could build together.
Let me be absolutely clear. We did not bring Óscar García to Szczecin to develop him for another football club. We hired him to build something special at Pogoń Szczecin.
I have tremendous respect for Dinamo Zagreb, its history, achievements, and standing in European football. But respect must work both ways. I find it deeply disappointing that a club of Dinamo's stature would pursue a coach who has only recently made such a significant contractual commitment to another club.
What surprises me even more is receiving approaches today, not only from Dinamo's current president, Zvonimir Boban, but also from individuals associated with the former leadership of Zdravko Mamić. Frankly, I find this extraordinary and shocking. I do not understand why individuals connected to different eras of Dinamo's leadership are involving themselves in the future of a coach who is firmly under contract with Pogoń Szczecin.
Professional football must be governed by principles, respect, integrity, and the sanctity of contractual commitments. Not simply by who has the biggest name or the deepest pockets.
I have not spoken to Óscar about these rumours, nor do I intend to allow this speculation to distract our club ahead of today's important match. Our players, coaching staff, and supporters deserve our complete attention and focus.
I would, however, be genuinely shocked and deeply disappointed if Óscar were even considering walking away from this project after just 11 games. Poland and Szczecin have welcomed him with open arms. Our supporters embraced him. Our players placed their trust in him. Our club gave him stability, confidence, and a long-term opportunity to build something meaningful.
After just a handful of matches, with our team competing near the top of the Ekstraklasa and so many exciting opportunities ahead, walking away would be extraordinarily difficult to understand. I believe Óscar is a man of character, integrity, and honour, and I expect the commitment we made to each other to mean something.
Pogoń Szczecin is not a stepping stone. We are not a club that abandons its ambitions because another European institution comes knocking.
We have our own history, our own pride, our own supporters, and our own dreams. We are building something here that deserves loyalty, patience, and conviction.
And to those who believe that every person and every commitment in football has a price, I have a very simple message:
You are mistaken. OUR COACH, VALUES AND AMBITIONS ARE NOT FOR SALE.
End of discussion!!!
