@RussoHockey @AlexMicheletti Again, if refs would call actions that are penalties, right away, and more consistently, and not base their calls on what the score is or who has the most shorthand opportunities so far in a game, players having to defend themselves would quickly decrease imo.

@NHLPlayerSafety Inconsisten reffing is holding back this sport. If skill guys can be assaulted they have to play defensively. With proper calls you have more room to operate, more scoring & healthy star players. The NFL realized this with PI And Holding and head contact. Seems to have worked
