@TheSmithPlays Too bad none of the other pseudos can be caught early enough and have their middle stage be usable at the same time. Gabite always felt usable like a middle stage starter but other middle stages feel more akin to a starter's base as you're fighting Crobats, Gyrados, etc

@Elite_4_J Well most of the Dark types in Gen 3 were physical attackers but Dark being special meant they couldn't do much dmg with a STAB Crunch. Gen 4 when the split happened was amazing for so many Pokemon although some mons like Alakazam lost out on coverage

@Zhane_Star Besides the alternate timelines they come from, the Burned Tower was about 150 years prior to the events of GSC/HGSS so theoretically they changed over time from millions of years ago. Wasn't PLA about 1k years prior to DPPt and we have Hisuian Arcanine, Zoroark, Etc

@noeevermore Too bad training a brand new team costs so much which ends up making transfer a team the most viable option. I haven't played a whole lot but bought all the held items and that hurt my pockets, eventually I'll bank up enough to do the mega stones

@cecililytweets Besides the fact that some of these mons are hard to get in their own region (Houndour/Houndoom or Skarmory), the BST are low for a lot of them, some required evolutions or gimmicks in later gens to make them shine (Togekiss or Gliscor for example), the pacing of Johto is horrid

@TheSmithPlays I'd be fine with mid game catches but only if the e4 starts at lvl 60, we have 100 levels and most stories end when the Champion is late 50s some barely past 60. I'd like the first e4 battle to start late 50s with the ace being 60+
