We have witnessed terrible images come out of Israel and Palestine that deserve no excuse. Individuals worldwide, both pro-Palestine and pro-Israel, gathered to not only spread disinformation but drown out the voices of those trapped in Gaza or victimized by Hamas.
Apartheid will not end and neither will terrorism by besieging cities, deliberately bombing homes, murdering the unarmed, or glorifying any of these acts as self-defense. There is no excuse for the genocidal rhetoric being propagated and amplified. There is no excuse for the genocidal actions being taken. There is no excuse for the immoral grandstanding "for their cause" many have taken atop the pile of corpses this war is building.
What we know, is Hamas and the IDF are guilty of their actions, Israel's right wing party is guilty of their security failure, Netanyahu is guilty of accelerating this war and ignoring intelligence, the west is guilty of allowing Israel's impunity to run rampant, Iran and Russia are guilty of equipping Hamas with the weapons, training, and planning of their terrorist attack.
Who are not guilty, are the women and men, children and elderly trapped in the death spiral that fascists on all sides have created. Those innocents brutally killed and victimized by terrorists and war criminals are not guilty. You don't have to be guilty either. What is needed now, is not bloodlust or revenge, but concrete action and steps to remove Israel's impunity, punish Hamas, and protect the weak and innocent, who neither have arms to raise or a voice to be heard.
