tryig to chase 20k months forgetting being able to work from anywhere in the world, at any time is already better than what 99% percent of people have.
Even better goal tho is creating, building and learning without having to worry about the money game at all.
- Tokyo and Goldcoast trip booked so vigorously doomscrolling for itinerary.
After watching the 12h Context build i got an idea.
Every CC version, send one challenge to the 40k: ship something in 48h, solve a real problem from one of your companies, or a creative prompt. Submissions go straight onto their Context profile.
You get a talent database built on actual proof of work instead of applications, the best builders get the stage, and the answers feed your next context dump. Turns 40k readers into 40k builders. Feel free to mail updates as well though so they connect with you ofcourse.
Just finished setting this up so I can go to Japan and not carry my MacBook everywhere.
Claude Code running in the cloud. It updates all repos and deploys to Netlify, Vercel, or Cloudflare depending on where the client’s site lives.
Next level is letting it read my emails and WhatsApp so I dont have to paste the mail myself.
Custom code from the start, no builders. Makes the “forever changes included” promise actually possible.
Same landing page. Same italic serif H1. Same AI background. Another dashboard.
The ones drawing, making games, or doing something that doesn’t look like the rest of the timeline are rarer. Funny thing is they actually stand out, and they tend to like what they’re doing.
Client told me to go fuck myself and my ideas.
I had 3 options:
Say it back and lose the money for rent 💀
Start arguing and lose him anyway 💀
Play it cool and apologise
Went with 3.
Still got paid, still finished the work.
Good reminder to screen better and have enough cash that you can turn people away when they show up like that.
Happy that’s not a problem anymore.
Funny how the more I shift away from planning every hour, analyzing everything, and trying to optimize every move—and toward trusting my gut, following what feels interesting, and putting clients first—the more fun I have.
I learn more. I’m more creative. I get more referrals.
And work starts feeling like play.
How many so far? I know it depends how custom you make them but ive had some results with automated scraping and having an ai model send 100 a day. Also doesnt hurt to filter them by measuring how much time they spend on the website if you send it as a link they can scroll through.
Friend asked for a simple booking system and client management so i built it for him. The Ai assistant is pretty cool.
Still needs some tweaks around the design so the X community can call it pretty.
Why would I post if many people have already done what i did.
Then i realise someone can look for stuff on my profile later on to better know me. Maybe thinking out loud is not as bad as I think.
Ps. Claude artifacts are cool for mapping out ERP systems.
Dental supplies client was tired of keeping a WooCommerce store glued to an external ERP.
So we built an ecommerce store, admin dashboard and inventory in a single app: orders, invoices, credit notes, stock with variants, supplier orders, bank payment matching etc.
Built on Next.js + Supabase.
Will post more when its finished. (demo data in the screenshots)
Visiting Tokyo in 2 weeks so it will be fun to visit the city durig the day and do client work in the evening with the 7h time change from Amsterdam.
Got my 7/11 list ready together with custom app for itinereary so my gf can stalk me where i Plan to go and if i made it back to airbnb or joined the salarymen on the sidewalk.
Kinda crazy how fast people can build games with AI.
But after a while i feel a bit robbed of the experience where people draw pixel by pixel and put their soul into it.
So I’ll spend more time on the art, I really want to put my imagination into this and be able to call it mine.
I'll document it as I go. Its a nice break from regular SAAS dashboards lol.
Procrastinated on posting for 3 years, so here goes.
I’m 23, a psych college dropout, and I’ve been running a web & app design agency for the past 2.5 years. I mostly work with Next.js, Tailwind, TypeScript and Supabase.
With all the “AI doom” around coding and web design, I’ve been spending more time experimenting with apps and games in Unity, thinking they might be a bit more bulletproof. Still building websites, but I see more and more people say they'll try doing it themselves first.
I keep hearing people say posting changed their lives so it would be really cool to find new friends & clients (especially internationally) beyond local cold outreach and "a friend who knows a friend".
Seeing so many talented people doesn't make posting easier but i'll just put the blinders on and keep posting until it works out.
It reminds me of my first few cold calls that felt like taking a cold shower, but sticking with it gave me the freedom to work from anywhere, have no boss and love what I do.
Let’s see where this goes.
