How does a #CollectionOffer work? 📝

On-chain, a collection offer is a stateless logic signature based escrow account.

What does all that mean? 🤔

Let's break it apart

1) Stateless? The code has no memory. You cannot save data for the next time the code runs.

2) Escrow? This holds the deposited ALGO until the offer is accepted or it closes. No expiration!

3) Logic signature? A wallet where withdrawals/transactions are controlled by logic (aka code) 🔒

How does it work? Step-by-step 📚

1. #ALGOxNFT creates the offer contract in PyTeal
2. We provide the buyer a stateless escrow address
3. Funds are deposited and protected by logic
4. If the offer is accepted, 2 things happen: the NFT is deposited into the escrow and payments get sent out
5. Final step (buyer only), retrieve the NFT from the escrow via your offers tab

Outcome: Using the #Algorand blockchain , the NFT buyer is able to help a seller find liquidity and jump in at a great price.
