The majority of October 7th Israeli deaths were soldiers. Of the rest, many, if not most, were killed by the IDF itself in crossfire, Hannibal directive actions, and just plain panic & mistaken identity. And then of the remainder after all that: remember, everyone is the IDF--how many "civilians" were armed & shooting back?

Hamas is legally & morally entitled to conduct resistance operations against its military occupiers & opponents and it's increasingly apparently that that is what Hamas did.

In my childhood, Mama was crying a lot for no reason to cry, under my constant insistence to find out the reason for her constant crying.
She told me that in her childhood she saw one of the Zionists hit the belly of a pregnant woman-in her ninth month-with a knife and then he was drown in laughing with his mates while this woman's shocked daughter was sitting on the floor which was covered with blood ,torn abdominal fragments and the severed fetus without crying or screaming.
I never forgot this anecdote and Mama did not stop crying constantly with out any other reason than she remembered the old painful scene.
A few days ago, at the beginning of this war, mama told me that she was that daughter who didn't cry the moment the soldiers slit my grandmother's belly and killed her baby brother but she kept crying all her life after she woke up from
The shock of the first scene.
One week ago I was looking for my mama's body in the rubble , after I found it, I swear to you I was living in a shock of the same old scene because I was also touching my baby brother
