The shutter speed was fixed at 1/250th. No option of infinity focus. No chance of recording stars like that.
You need several seconds to show stars. Without a tripod that is a complete waste of time. They had better things to do.

Surely you must know the Soviets already measured radiation to & from the Moon before Apollo 8 went there?

Commercial airplanes deal with a greater pressure differential and their aluminium skin is typically 3 to 4mm thick.

Amazingly, the footage returned matches exactly with the hi-res imagery of the lunar surface sent back in the last few years.
