Bangladeshi health and care workers brought in 747 dependants for 139 workers.

Indian workers brought in 10,504 dependants for 2,395 workers.

That is not a marginal administrative issue — that is a migration pipeline.

Ministers talk as if the problem ended when they announced tighter rules, but the Home Office data shows the legacy system still doing what it was designed to do: import workers, then import family at scale.

And once those dependants are here, the state inherits the housing pressure, school pressure, NHS pressure, and the political fallout.
