It looks like Neill Blomkamp earlier "Alien 5" film idea was indeed planned to have Sigourney Weaver and Michael Biehn returning as Ripley and Hicks.
Sigourney also 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 to take part.

Unfortunately, this film never came to be.

That would be SO cool but won't happen as Sigourney has ruled out a return to the Alien verse.
I would have loved to see such a movie after Hicks survived as seen in the game Aliens: Colonial Marines.

I would like to play that game on the Switch.
Sadly it (still) isn't available there.
