This report and, importantly, the lives of black students and trainees, negatively impacted by our inability to address what must not become a deep-seated problem, saddens me. Not only because I am black, but more importantly, if we do not fix this, what does it say about us?
Maybe a review of the standard that is set by the GPhC - consultation results from May 2022 is needed?
Does “specialise” in context for foundation yr really mean “concentrate learning in one area” - which would make more sense for the pharmacist to achieve and DPP to assess?
