A lot of men say they’re calm.
No mate.
You’re calm in a quiet room with a coffee.
Real calm is when someone is in your face, your heart is trying to climb out your throat, and your body is begging you to do something stupid.
That’s where you find out if you’re trained.
Or just polite.
Train to stay calm under the worst possible situations
I open doors for people, not because I want a thank you.
It’s because that’s the identity of who I am.
I open doors, I say thank you, I say please.
It means fuck all to me how you respond.
Smile, say thank you, ignore me.
That’s on you and I can’t control how you respond.
My standard don’t change based on other people.
Your goal should be the same.
You don’t train because you feel motivated.
You train because you’re the type of cunt who trains.
You don’t post content because you feel confident.
You post because you’re the type of cunt who does the work.
That’s where most people go wrong.
They attach their behaviour to feedback.
If people praise them, they continue.
If people ignore them, they stop.
If they feel good, they work.
If they feel tired, they fold.
That’s not discipline.
Focus on who you need to be to get the thing.
Not how to achieve the thing itself.
“I want to be stress free”
Bullfuckingshit, you don’t.
No stress would lead your body to shrivel away
You’d have no adrenaline in moments where you need quick action.
You’d not adapt. Stress mentally creates mental toughness, stress physically creates a stronger body.
It also gives life meaning. Things that matter have stress attached to them. Your Mrs who fuckin moans, work, goals
It also exposes weakness, it shows where you’re a weak little bitch, unprepared, soft and undisciplined. It shows you the area that needs work.
The problem isn’t stress, the problem is how you deal with stress
The problem is how you use stress
The problem is how you view it as this negative thing, when it’s vital.
Imagine you’re dead and you meet god (if you believe in such a thing. )
He asks you what you did with your life.
And your response is:
“Play computer games and wank off to p0rn”
You’re literally the reason why disease can be useful.
"Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly until you learn to do it well."
Read that again…
Understand that it’s going to suck at the start.
You’re going to be awful… worse than awful…
That’s how you know it’s the right ‘thing’.
Showing up as your best starts with your body.
The mind follows the body.
Excess fat, lack of muscle =
Lack of discipline and inability to do hard shit.
Fight, Lift & Run
The mind will follow
