Abi told all about what she has been learning at school today. Telling us about the seasons and how there are so many hours of sunshine in a day and you get more hours in the summer. Also, she told us about how the sun goes around the earth.

@Year1Kingsley Abi has been busy the last few days. She made up a super villian called "'A' girl" and wrote about how she puts her hand on the floor and it makes lots of angry a's that attack everyone. She also wrote a weather magazine.

Emily's science this week was to learn about pitch. We made a rainbow coloured instrument with water and the girls played a tune using the different pitch in each glass.

This week we were investigating rainbows, (after Abi asking if we could make one). We found out how they are made and then experimented making one using a light and some water. We could see red, orange, blue and green. Then we drew our own rainbows.
