Releasing control of our own plans, our own ways, and our own lives in general sets us up for the best version of life on earth.
Will it be perfect? No. But it will be surrendered to a perfect God, and that makes room for miracles.
FEAR
- a really bad 4 letter word that keeps us from getting where God wants us to go. If you have a spirit of fear...its not from God.
(2 Timothy 1:7)
I don’t know what you’ve lost, and I don’t know what place you’re in right now, but I know this: God isn’t finished with you yet.
You may not run the exact race you thought you would be running, but God still has a race for you.
Here are God’s words as recorded in Jeremiah 29:11: “I know the plans I have for you… plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
The same God who spoke those words to the Israelites is speaking them to you today.
God has not forgotten the dreams He placed in your heart.
This is the God we are invited to serve: a God who gives dreams and sees those dreams through.
Don't give up.
Seeking answers is understandable. But it’s so much more comforting to invite God’s peace to just fill in the gaps of all the unknowns.
It’s when we decide to stop the relentless grasping for unanswerable questions that our hands are free to take hold of what He has for us next.
Pray with me
April 19, 2026
Father,
Here I am today, available and aware that this day is not mine, it is Yours.
Order my steps. Guide my words. Align my thoughts with the truth. Wherever I go, let me carry Your presence in a way that is real and alive.
Use me in the small moments I might normally overlook. In the conversations I did not plan. In opportunities I did not expect. Give me eyes to see people the way You see them, not as interruptions, but as assignments.
Guard my heart from pride, from distraction, and from self-centered ambition. Keep me rooted in humility, knowing that anything good that comes through me comes from You.
If I speak, let it be with wisdom and grace. If I act, let it be with love and courage. If I face resistance, give me patience. If I face opportunity, give me boldness.
Shape my attitude so that even in difficulty, I reflect You. Let my reactions honor You just as much as my intentions.
And at the end of this day, whether it felt big or small, visible or unseen, let it all point back to Your glory, not mine.
Use me today, Jesus. Fully. Completely. Without hesitation.
Amen
“You can still pray for more. You can still hope for healing, growth, change. Holy longing and holy gratitude can live in the same chest. But don’t miss what God is doing right where you are. Don’t let the noise of “next” drown out the holiness of “now.” #cleerelystated
I just got done watching the SOTU and this part of the night was so sweet 😭 this stoic professional military man being given our country’s highest honor and he lets his guard down to share a sweet moment with his wife who is absolutely beaming with pride 🥹
While you're waiting...God is working. Trust His timing. He's got you. 🙏
"Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord." (Psalm 27:14)
We fight from victory, not for it.
“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” (1 John 4:4)
"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."
— from Martin Luther King's 1963 book, Strength to Love
God's blessings are worth the wait. Don't give up...keep praying 🙏
