@cookiewhirls Session frequency again depends on the client as a learner and action taker, but ideally 3 sessions a month works well as allows for one implementation week a month to practise the independent autonomy and delivery of goals.
@cookiewhirls Duration wise with business coaching 6months for a program allows enough time and flexibility at a minimum for all the highs and lows to be experienced. Making it easier for the client to be confident in becoming independent and autonomous when the coaching concludes.
@cookiewhirls With recent events online sessions have had a huge increase and therefore impact and are an efficient way to feel connected, especially if you like meeting face to face.
@cookiewhirls Everyone is unique in their ability to be aware, process, review, and adapt or implement. Therefore a coaching program, medium and structure needs to work for the client and coach to perform optimally.
@cookiewhirls The business coach needs to be invested in me as the business owner, and detached enough to be impartial on the decisions I choose to make. While remaining encouraging and supportive of the experiences I create.
Keeping a close eye on my overall goals and strategies for action
@cookiewhirls Must have traits are honesty, business acumen, an ability to see beyond the obstacle to the limit or belief thats responsible for the thought or subsequent behaviour.
Solid processes and systems to create a safe and confidential container that builds rapport and trust.
@cookiewhirls Hi Jodie - when I look for a business coach to support me, I'm looking for someone who portrays similar values to me and my business. Not just someone who has been where I am or is going where I want to because I'm not looking to emulate anyone elses journey but create my own.
@cookiewhirls 4. Businesses do not fail. People experience the sense of failure and therefore give up on the business. Therefore business coaching has to work on the beliefs, mindset and limitations of the person to get the best results and support them to see their full potential!
@cookiewhirls 3. Know what outcomes you want from the coaching. Yes your coach can work through this with you to be more specific, but if you know what you expect you will begin to know if you’re on track with your intentions to get a coach to help you move in the desired direction
@cookiewhirls 2. Go all in - with your thoughts, communication, hopes and dreams. Without full flowing truth and openness a Coach cannot support you to see a clear pathway. So don’t hold back! (Which is why it’s incredibly important to feel connected, and safe with your coach)
@cookiewhirls 1. Create space - in order to grow yourself and your business you need time to think, process, implement, action and experiment after your sessions.
@cookiewhirls I get inspiration from my clients Jodie, I often get inspired by the gaps I see they face and the frustrations of not having or needing what they want.
Frustration can be the greatest source of inspiration if you follow the rabbit hole and get curious as to the solution.
@cookiewhirls Hi Jodie - I’m a business coach and I’ve built my business based on providing a fantastic customer experience which in turn leads to client retention and lifetime value of that client, so both of those metrics are what I keep a close eye on, hope that helps!
@cookiewhirls Today I felt gratitude when I was credited for inspiring a client to reflect on her journey.
- The constant stream of ideas because Im so connected to my work
- The ability to connect others together
- Being able to wear slippers to work!
