Bringing communities together, feeding people in need, using as much of a valuable resource as possible and making it all accessible through mobile filleting stations - what an incredible initiative. https://t.co/s2dK5anc25

Today is world bee day 💚🐝 One third of our food depends on bees. Beyond that, the seeds, fruits and berries eaten by birds and small mammals are all from plants that are pollinated by bees. Show some love for these other amazing essential workers.

@abbie_reynolds @DrJessBerentson It's been fascinating to see people get creative by using whatever they had on hand, to support the needs of community. How good would it be if NZ continued in this mindset of more mindful consumption, and always asked first "Can we use what we've already got"?

The “Goodbye Abbie” @nz_sbc team surprise treasure hunt is on! Where will we go next, and what will the treasure be? And of course it’s not an @abbie_reynolds party without a sash...

I’m going to rename today “Use What You’ve Got Friday”, as an antidote to the Black Friday marketing that’s everywhere. Here’s my way to show it - collecting old jeans from the neighbourhood and turning them into totes, kids bags and pots.
