Saw a long letter written from my dad to my granny . The letter was comical colloquial mother-in law squabbles but it was so interesting to see all his nuances and subtle cheek and elequant language , feel like I just got to know him a little more tonight ☺️

I looked up at a white sky with a blackbird sitting on a chimney .i said ‘ oh I didn’t see it there , yes it is ‘and started walking and forgot about it immediately until I started hearing all the music it was making and saw another a few houses down that played a soundtrack home

As I was walking down the old housing streets of Harold’s cross and rathgar avenue I saw an elderly woman out on the path looking up at the sky . I smiled at her and she said ‘isn’t that a lovely blackbird up there?’..
