Been working from a quiet beach town this week and every morning I work from this cafe.

And every morning I see the same 7-10 men come at 6:30am to get coffee, pull chairs into a circle and talk for an hour.

So today I listened.

They talk about the news.
Their kids and grandchildren.
Upcoming trips.
Who that singer or actress was.
Car trouble.
House trouble.
Instapot.
Why you should marry up (this made me laugh)

And guess what they didn’t talk about?
Their careers.

At the end of the day, the things that matter are relationships and community.

Don’t let your career prevent you from building relationships.
