I was worried about my suitcase of books because it was not really a suitcase but a rolling bag for craft supplies that I got at Hobby Lobby. Then I discovered that you can have your bag shrink wrapped. Hopefully my Boccaccio biographies won’t be circling on the conveyor belt.

This snail was crossing a brick street headed toward a brick wall. I re-homed it to my garden and it was so happy to see the plants, it stretched its neck and began waving its feelers. And I was reminded that one of my goals for 2019 was to be ever alert for tiny acts of kindness

I came home in a great nesting mood. My kitchen had some decorative tiles that were stylized apples--not at all in keeping with this medieval theme I’ve got going on. I had the local ceramic artist make some tiles of local historic buildings here in Certaldo Alto.
