Sources: President Trump, commerce secretary Howard Lutnick, and White House task force head Andrew Giuliani put together a team of elite lawyers — from outside the government — to challenge the Flo Balogun red card. Specifically they challenged the use of slow motion instant replay to give the red card, which they argued violated FIFA rules. The president also conveyed to Gianni Infantino, FIFA’s president, that the appeal had been filed and he believed the red card penalty was excessive. FIFA’s independent committee reviewed the decision and agreed the penalty was incorrectly given, rescinding it under their rule 27 authority.
The Sun is by far the biggest source of energy in our solar system
Even here on Earth, the Sun accounts for roughly 100% of all the energy we use - fossil fuels are just ancient sunlight stored in plants, while wind, hydro, biomass, and solar power are all driven by the Sun right now
Beyond Earth, the vast majority of spacecraft, satellites, and future Mars bases run entirely on solar energy
The Sun puts out 3.8 × 10²⁶ watts - more energy in a single second than all of humanity has ever used in its entire history
And just to put it in perspective: the Sun makes up 99.8% of the total mass of our entire solar system. Jupiter is only 0.1%. Everything else (Earth, Mars, asteroids, etc.) is basically miscellaneous
We’re finally learning how to use the only energy source that actually matters ☀️

🚨🇿🇦 BREAKING: South Africa's Julius Malema (EFF) & Former President Jacob Zuma (MK) unite ahead of the funeral of Mme Martha Motlanalo Malema
"If we don't unite now, we will be slaves forever"
Nobody talks about the longevity of Sheikh Abdul-Rahman Sudais. We all grew up listening to Sudais and many people memorized the Qur’an through his recitation. After over 40 years as Imam of Masjid Al Haram, he is still going till today. At an age where many voices begin to fade, Sheikh Sudais recitation still carries a rare brilliance. Time has neither touched his voice nor the soul within his tilawah.
A truly unique individual, May he continue to live long.
The atmosphere at the Holy Kaaba as Sheikh Abdurahman Sudais led the Tahajjud prayer. What a serenity and devotion as hundreds of thousands of hearts stood in worship, hoping to witness the mercy and blessings of Laylatul Qadr. 🤲🏽🕋
Fun fact.
The Switzerlands largest supermarket, Migros, doesn’t sell alcohol or tobacco in stores, pays no dividends, caps profits by lowering prices if earnings exceeds 5%, is a cooperative with 2M+ members, and donates 1% of revenue to social projects, purely out of the founders moral philosophy

Beyond Proximity to Power: Defining Adamawa’s Political Identity.
Politics must never become a game of shifting loyalties without clear direction. Our state deserves consistency. It deserves clarity. It deserves leadership anchored in principle.
Adamawa has always played an important role in national politics. We have produced respected figures, including Atiku Abubakar, whose influence extends beyond our borders. That history is something we acknowledge with pride.
But history alone cannot define our future.
As a people, we must begin to ask deeper questions:
What do we truly stand for?
What is our long-term vision for Adamawa?
What values guide our decisions when pressure comes?
Political alliances are necessary. Negotiation is part of leadership. Engagement with the center is important for development. But these must be guided by purpose — not by convenience.
When politics becomes only about alignment with whoever holds power at the moment, the people lose direction. Stability requires more than proximity to Abuja. It requires a clear philosophy of governance.
Adamawa needs:
•Leadership that is consistent in word and action
•Representation that protects the mandate of the people
•Partnerships built on development priorities, not personal survival
We must move from personality-driven politics to policy-driven politics.
This does not mean confrontation.
It means maturity.
It does not mean rebellion.
It means responsibility.
Our farmers need security and access to markets.
Our youth need jobs and skills.
Our civil servants need efficiency and accountability.
Our communities need unity beyond party lines.
The politics of the future in Adamawa must be guided by conviction, but expressed with wisdom.
We can be principled without being rigid.
We can be strategic without losing integrity.
We can build alliances without surrendering our values.
That is the balance serious leadership requires.
And that is the direction Adamawa must take.
