Let’s break down the 5 pillars of Islam.

-Shahada: You’re already born as a muslim.
-Zakat: You’re only eligible when you have the money that requires it. So a poor man may never give Zakat
-Fasting: You may be sick or travelling, so you can skip it and repay later.
-Hajj: Can only happen when you have the means to pay for it. So it’s not mandatory if you don’t have the means.

And then there’s Salat.
*Sick; as long as you’re conscious, you will pray, even if you’re on your sick bed
*Travelling; You must stop and pray, or offer it while sitting in the car or plane.
*Poor? You must pray.

Salat is so important that, whatever situation a Muslim may find himself in, it’s not being taken off from him. Unless some certain conditions like mental illness or menstrual circle for women.

Remember, Salat will be the first deed that would be questioned in the grave.

Don’t play with your salat, it’s your key to success, your key to progress in life, and your key to Jannah.
