CRISPR is a newish form of gene editing (think about pair of genetic scissors). It allows scientists to remove bits of a plant or food’s DNA, a bit like the CTRL Find+Replace function we all know and love!

CRISPR has the potential to alleviate several environmental problems, and the technology can also be used to improve nutrition from healthier soybean oil to those tomatoes that reduce blood pressure.
