@CharlieDimichi@narindertweets Would it be better to love in a world where the owners of private businesses are forced to accept business from people they don’t want to be anywhere near?
@pmchugh02@Glinner “Antisemitism doesn’t exist” “Jews are conspiring to destroy us”
…if you think really hard, you may spot a slight contradiction here.
@TenderzChicken@CourtTV It depends on the offender. Some criminals are more or less ok seeing out their years in prison, for others that would be hell and death would be preferable.
@Glinner Panel show comic. Genuinely quite entertaining on some kind of game show/news recap format programme but I wouldn’t want to sit through a full length stand up set. It’s not a bad thing it’s just a thing, something the BBC produces a lot of.
@ThePosieParker That their name tags are designed to bait out a predictable response from the “wokeness is ruining everything” brigade and it’s working?
@RupertLowe10 That the BBC has never had a left-wing bias and has in fact empowered the far right by disproportionately platforming the likes of Farage and yourself for decades?
@MisterJamesW@Geniustechw Situations like this are exactly why the traffic code says to wait, though. People slip and fall over, bump in to other people/vehicles etc all the time. cyclist is of course the main one at fault but van driver also ignored well-known rules that exist for good reasons.
@MisterJamesW@Geniustechw Cyclist is totally in the wrong but van driver is wrong too. All vehicles are supposed to stop until pedestrians have completely cleared the crossing, so van should have waited even though it looking like orange shirt guy was no longer in his path.
@Geniustechw Everyone except the pedestrian is in the wrong. All vehicles including bicycles are supposed to stop until all pedestrians have completely cleared the crossing. So the van driver should have waited even though the guy was no longer in his path.
