@johnnyhellodepp@DCComics@aquamanmovie@warnerbros @wbpictures - women are not the only victims of domestic abuse. If this were a man admitting and gaslighting- they would have been cancelled immediately
@aquamanmovie@warnerbros @wbpictures @DCComics now that audio has confirmed Amber Heard was physically abusing Johnny Depp- are you going to stand up against domestic violence????
Envision Healthcare (backed by private equity) claims they’re so cash-strapped they have no choice but to cut physician pay and benefits. If that's the case, why are they pouring millions into dark money political ads?
@SenWarren and I are pressing for real answers.
And yet so many Physician Anesthesiologists are quick to defer intubation if covid patients to CRNAs. “I’d rather see CRNAs knocked out of commission due to transmission rather than an Anesthesiologist” MD, former Anesthesia resident of U of MN
@NYGovCuomo@DeptVetAffairs
When I was named Surgeon General, some were shocked that an anesthesiologist was in this role. Then came a fentanyl epidemic, and a crisis w/ spotlight on intubation and ventilators...

@JeromeAdamsMD@Anesthesia2006 And yet so many Physician Anesthesiologists are so quick to defer intubation of covid patients to CRNAs. “I’d rather see CRNAs knocked out of commission due to transmission rather than an Anesthesiologist” MD, former Anesthesia resident of U of MN @UMNews
@JeromeAdamsMD@Anesthesia2006 As surgeon general it should be standard to include all anesthesia professions. Especially since CRNAs began in 1887, AAs didn’t exist until 1960.
@EDIBLU Joan Rivers died under the care of an anesthesiologist.
I don’t blame all Anesthesiologists or find the profession incapable because of that. Data shows that CRNAs deliver Equally safe care.
Ask any member of the US Military. CRNAs are solo on the front line.
@EDIBLU CRNAs practice independently all over the country and in the Military. It is you who doesn’t understand our role vs us not understanding “our place”.
You are familiar with ONE model of anesthesia care, not the only one.
Be professionally objective instead of emotionally driven
@EDIBLU I educate all patients on my undergrad, background in ICU, and graduate education. Nursing is one of the most trusted professions, I am proud to be one.
It is unfortunate you had such a bad experience with 3 out of the 54,000 CRNAs. I’ve had bad experiences in all professions
@EDIBLU The general public can’t pronounce Anesthetist, much less understand what it means. Nurse Anesthesiologist is very transparent. CRNAs practice independently all over the country and in the US military. The public has a right to know WHO is doing their anesthesia.
@EDIBLU All I ask is that you take time to get to know who we are and what we do PRIOR to forming such a strong opinion. We have been practicing anesthesia since we were frontline during the civil war. Our profession is not new, it’s simply new to you.

@wbtate@Yukon_Hiker@Saminnature @nowthisnews @backyardsage Get to know who we are & what we do
In 2019, the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, in addition to already recognized titles, recognized the new title “Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesiologist”

@wbtate@Yukon_Hiker@Saminnature @nowthisnews @backyardsage -ologist: a person who studies or has knowledge of a particular kind of science. (Biologist: not an MD)
Ology/ologist is NOT a synonym for MD/Physician.
The ASA uses "Physician Anesthesiologist" dentists use "Dentist Anesthesiologist" and CRNAs use "Nurse Anesthesiologist"
