I don’t see why they should be allowed to kill whales.

Suffering is suffering regardless of who is causing it.

There are plenty of alternative food sources.

Much contemporary indigenous whaling uses motorized boats, explosive harpoons, and rifles rather than the traditional methods the exemption was designed around, which critics argue makes it functionally similar to other hunting rather than a preserved ancestral practice.

This is not an accident… this is human cruelty. His only “fault” was that he entered someone’s field in search of food… and for that, he was punished in a way that shakes humanity to its core.
