Sunwing and Westjet have stranded 150 Canadians in Mexico for 2 days. No information or assistance has been provided. The flight has several children and elderly people as passengers. All just before Christmas. @WestJet@SunwingVacay
@SunwingVacay We just emailed “Sunwing Cares” and they have informed us they “cannot help us with this short notice”. We were told to explore other options to get back home for a fee. This is unbelievable. 150 Canadians stranded for 2 days in Mexico @SunwingVacay@WestJet@WestJet_ClaimT
@WestJet_ClaimT You have 150 Canadians stranded in Mexico right now, with no information being shared except “talk to Sunwing”. Young children, elderly folks are not doing well. We have been sitting at the airport for 7 hours after being cancelled altogether yesterday.
@SunwingVacay GYPGNM. We are stranded in Mexico with another entire flight. There are 150 people here. We were all to depart yesterday at 1pm Cancun to Montreal. The flight is with Westjet. Westjet says only Sunwing can help. We are now told the flight is further delayed to 7pm tonight.
@VeteransENG_CA@CanadianForces Inspiring story to be sure. Just a note - a retired CAF member requires a minimum 10 years service to use the post nominal of “Retired” or “Ret’d” in accordance with QR&O Article 15.09.
